The City of Sunrise currently contracts with AvMed to provide overall health care related services, which includes behavioral health. 

Our program provides you with health plan benefits for your behavioral health and substance abuse needs through Optum Health Services

 (mention this when speaking to the chosen clinician/therapist).

Confidential service is available to us as Cigna members and City of Sunrise employees. Talk to Cigna clinicians over the phone, through live chat, or face-to-face. Cigna covers 6 FREE visits per member of household (per issue) for the calendar year.

IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE 6-FREE VISITS, YOU MUST CALL CIGNA FIRST AT THE NUMBER ABOVE TO OBTAIN AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER, WHICH IS WHAT YOU GIVE TO YOUR CLINICIAN OF CHOICE.

 If you voluntarily call Cigna and receive any sort of service, it will remain 100% Confidential! All of your information is kept private between you and your clinician.
